I drive 150 miles per day and have 30,000 miles on my Cooper A/T3s. They are quiet but have plenty of aggressive tread for when I need it. And they are a lot cheaper than the Michelins. Previously I had Goodyear All-Terrain Adventures with Kevlar. They were good but I am certain these Coopers are better.

I have the Michelin LTX MS2 265/70/R16. I have to say that I have been down logging roads, trails to go hunting and fishing. I have been in pretty decent mud in New Mexico and I have been in some rocky area's too. Good tire love it in the snow and ice. Also I have 40,000 miles on them and will probably last another 40K + miles.

I have the Cooper Discoverer A/T3 on my 98 Tacoma SR5 4WD. I don't do much off road so I can't speak for the performance in that area. They have been good road tires thus far. The wear rate has been impressive. I may consider them for my new 15 Tacoma TRD OR when the time comes.
