I have a 2.5in lift. I was hoping there wouldn’t be i have the 285s on my stock rims right now and there is a little rubbing on the UCA on full crank but that’s all.

Nice, looks good. I’m really hoping my doesn’t rub either, idk how much of a difference my 17x9s and 285/70/17 are compared to yours tho.

My tires are way wider than a 285/70 tire

I'm running a similar lift (about 3 inches) with 17x9 -12 offset rims w/285/70/17 tires. You will more than likely rub at full lock in reverse. If you plan on off-roading much, CMC is a must. If not, the CMC would remove the annoyance of slight rubbing, but it wouldn't be a requirement.

If you are worried about rubbing or needing to do the CMC, go with a less aggressive offset.

ive got only a 2" leveling kit in front with 1" block in back, running 17x9 with -12 offset and a 285/75r17 tire thats around 34" and i barley rub the fronts on 3/4 turn. if i went with a 285/70 i think it would clear no problem or even a 0 offset rim with my 285/75 tires would of been better too
