Not really. Bigger tire, more weight, less fuel economy and performance.

Unless you have a real need for a larger tire (ground clearance under the axel) it’s just throwing away money.

no not really in "need" for bigger tires.. biggest i would go is to 17's and if it doesnt make that much noticeably difference then im sticking to 245/17r16.. and also im not offroading if that makes a difference in decision making...

Also if you guys have any knowledge on backspacing would be great... I'd like my tires to NOT be flush with my fender, I'd like it to stick out maybe 2-3inches im very unfamiliar with the numbers on there... how much backspace do I need for that.. thanks!

Just wanted to get some thoughts whether i should go bigger on my wheels and tires.. up to 17's if its noticeably different.. cuz i dont think id go 18's.. would it be worth it to go 17s? I guess im saying if i get new wheels in 16s just dont want to regret later not getting 17s

A lot of Tacos came with 245/70 16's. No real functional benefit for larger tires if you're keeping it on the pavement or graded dirt & gravel. Unless you want a different look.

You need to realize tire size and wheel size are different things. You can get giant tires for a 15” rim or super low profile tires on a 22” rim.
