    Got a 2006 TRD Off Road 2WD Prerunner. Running the Enkie 20 wheels with Nitto 265 x 50 x 20 tires.

Need new tires but in order to get an aggressive tread I have to go to 275 x 65 x 20. That is a much larger diameter tire and produces an error on my speedo of about 8 mph at 60.

I do not like running a road tire on my truck. I know there are others out there having the same issue.

So,...does this larger tire affect performance significantly? Does anyone know a tire manufacturer that offers a aggressive tread while being closer to the same diameter as stock in a 20" size?

Good Point. I talked with the good folks at BF Goodrich. They informed me that I would probably have to settle 275 x 55 x 20 if I wanted an aggressive tread. So that is what I will do. The tire calculator indicates the speedo will not be off but a few mph at 60. I was more concerned with acceleration.
