so I'm gunna lift my 2005 TRD sport. Anyway I'm gunna put a 3" rough country lift on it. Nothing crazy considering I'm still in high school and my budget. I was wondering what's the best size tire to put on with the lift to give it a good stance.

285/75 on 16s or 17s seem to be the most popular size. Another interesting option is 255/85, this gives a more "military" narrow tire look and might make clearances a bit better (less trimming). Either way a cab mount chop and some plastic trimming will be in order. There are a million threads and pictures on this, good luck. Wheel backspacing and offset will play a huge part in the overall fitment.

BTW, I'd steer away from brands such as rough country for your lift... unless you plan to upgrade again in the near future. I've used rough country twice on budget builds and both times I kicked myself in the ass for it. Spend a little bit more on an OME or bilstein setup and get much more quality.

I went with 255/80/17 on my truck.
Minimal trimming (only rubbed off Road at full lock) as they're a bit narrower.
    Stock 17" alloy wheels.
