So no issues with rubbing at full lock and no trimming/BMC needed? I really want to get this lift done but wasn’t sure it could fit 33” tires

    Very informative thread.

I was just thinking about this today...hmmmm.

Soooo, 285/70R16 have a good look about them. @Bubba503

I know the Sport comes with 17s but how much of a difference does wheel size make other than less weight?

*I'm taking my Premium Toyota Warranty into consideration.

I saw another size on this thread that looks good too: 275/70R17 & 255/85R16.

Dealers will tell you 265/75r16 or 265/70r17. The lift won't fix the rubbing that a bigger tire will cause. Main tires being 285s. The cab mount and wheel well will rub even with the lift. So the default tires are still the recommended sizes.

285s work for me, no rubbing, no cab chop mount, no trimming!

    I’m hoping 285 x 70r x 17’s will work on my factory lifted 2022 Sport

Not sure how lift height does not create more wheel well room. So are you saying even for on-road or stationary, a stock height would have the same room as 3" lift?

There is nothing wrong with Bilstein's for their price-point, but the TRD lift offered by Toyota is extremely overpriced.

Expensive for sure but “extremely” overpriced?

It was worth it for me.
I don’t do any four wheeling per day.
I like the higher stance and look. The truck is on pavement 90% of the time and 10% of the time it’s hilly dirt roads and unplowed areas where the extra height works.
It also helps in towing so my boat and trailers don’t dip so low.
I was able to just pick my truck up with it all installed at the dealer and ready to go.
Lastly it’s factory warrantied and didn’t hurt the factory warranty
So it had and has value just not for everyone

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
One very, very important part of the equation that is often overlooked is wheel width and offset. Large amounts of negative offset hinders your ability to run a taller/wider tire.

    +1

I'm evaluating and considering the TRD Lift when I get a set of 4 tires later this year.

I don't have a boat but good to know it has value in that department.
