A lot of people post lift and tire size questions here, even though it might seem that their questions have been answered elsewhere.

And then multiple ding-a-lings jump all over them for posting, which not only fails to answer the question, it fills up the thread and makes it harder for the next guy to find answers. And of course the flaming doesn't unpost the thread.

So here's a suggestion; If you can't say something nice, or that actually answers the question, just move on.

    Welcome to Tacoma world!

See my signature block for links that will answer some questions on Lift and Tire Size. Also I HIGHLY recommend you read the welcome information that was sent to you in the Welcome Message and Learn to Use Search Feature to avoid getting flamed for asking questions that are repeatedly asked here. This should really help your transition onto the site go smoothly.

Actually, Smitty, it seems your little message isn't working at all. So I'm suggesting an alternative.

For the record i agree with you, but I've not been here that long and already see that these threads get posted several times a week. Isn't this addressed by TCBob when you sign up and get direction to tacked threads?

My suggestion is learn about lifts, wheel and tire fitment and respond to those threads before all the ding-a-lings can tell them to search

I get what you are suggesting. If people would use the search function, seek information out for themselves instead of relying upon being spoonfed everything, there'd be a lot less threads that turn to crap. These questions have been asked and answered hundreds of times.
