Tire Size on a 3" lift-- Help...

    AEM DRY BRUTE FORCE, FLOWMASTER 50 SERIES, 285/70/17 BFG'S AT KO2'S MOTO METALS 17X8 885's with 5100's LOUD STEREO
    I have an 06 DC with a 3" revtec lift... my tires are worn down. will a 305-65-17 tire it without any rubbing. (a while ago i had a tire shop test fit a 33x12.50R17 and it cleared). Thank you.

    The biggest tire you can put on without any rubbing is a 265/70 17. There are a lot of people running 285/70 17 with minor trimming.

    i just used the tire calculator and it seems that there is a slight difference in width,,, but hardly much. anyone running this tire on this set up?
