Tire size on stock rumor???

I'm going to be getting KO2s for my 2016 TRD Sport.

My original size that I was going to purchase is 265/70/17.

However I'm hearing that "275/70/17" can FIT on a stock??? I would just need to remove my mud flaps.

Anyone advise???

Anyone else have advice on another "will it fit stock" thread? No rumor, it is hit and miss when you are that close. Each truck is slightly different, just as noted in the other dozens of threads asking the same question...

What is gained by going wider? Do you drive on the beach often?

Truck in picture looks to have 4Runner wheels and not stock sports. I would look at the backs pacing for each because that may be why he doesn't rub.

 

I ran 275s with stock wheels and mudflaps for years. Minimal issues wrt rubbing. See profile. Lots of threads on this in 2nd gen forum.

You cant get load range C in 275, you can in 265. That right there should make your decision. Tacoma's don't ever need load range E, way to heavy, stay load C.

 

Where did you the trd pro wheels from???
