    just a quick question:

My 2016 sport came with 17 inch wheels including spare. I replaced the 4 stock wheels with 16s and got ko2 285/85-16.

I kept the 17 inch spare and didn't replace the rubber but figure I should replace with something same size but don't want to replace the rim. Something in a skinnier profile would also be good.

    Would a 255/70-17 fit?

Try using the tire size calculator provided by the website:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc
It's a very useful tool to get you quick answers. I'm on my phone or I'd do it for you, but you can just punch in the two sizes and you'll get a comparison.
