So I've looked but I need a quick answer. I currently run 17x8 wheels with 265/70/17 they don't rub. I have a 3" toytec lift eibachs and 5100 with top plate. I have a chance to buy a set of 18x9 wheels what size tires would or could I run on them I really don't wanna do a cab mount chop so a 32 would be fine what about the rim being 9" wide? Help please thanks

What are the specs of the wheels, as far as offset or backspacing.

Depending on those, with the 3" lift you could run 285/60/18, 275/65/18 or 265/65/18 with no rubbing

I run 275/65/18 on my 2012 DCSB with a level kit and no rubbing once I removed the front mud flaps. No trimming necessary.

Then you could run any of the sizes I listed above with very minor rubbing if any.

That depends on the make and brand of the tire. Check the tire manufacturers website under "sizes and specs" on the page of the individual tire you want.

What would be the closest to a 265/70/17 so I could still use my spare if needed

Welcome to TW. Hankook dynapro at-m's and nitto terra grapplers both have fairly aggressive treads but are quiet and well-mannered on-road. There are many others too.
