    Hello all,

I was looking at upgrading my tires from the factory ones. It looks like the Falcon wildpeak a/t3w is a pretty solid tire.

I wanted to see if any one knows what the biggest size I could go with out rubbing and standard suspension for trd off-road.

I know I won’t be able to get a huge difference with out lifting it, but that will be some time down the road.

    thanks for tips!

lots of threads on here about tire size so you’ll get a bunch of people saying “did you search other threads” haha just so you know. The stupid answer is “it depends”. Some people will say that you can fit 285s with some trimming on your own without rubbing and others will say absolutely not. Also everyone has an opinion on the brand of tire. The most common ones are the Falken, BFG, and Toyo in my opinion. On my truck, I personally went with Toyos and love them. I like the look and I am confident in them lasting after doing my research. It all comes down to watch you are comfortable with after doing some self research. There won’t be a “right” answer here! Lots of preferences which is the beauty of TW I guess!

Depends on the specs of the wheel you use.

And which dimension of a tire you want to make 'bigger'.

The short answer is 265/75/16 on the stock wheels

The long answer is, you can go taller than this with skinny tires, or fatter with short tires, or neither with negative offset aftermarket wheels, and it takes some research.

You can go with skinny tires. There is a thread on here with some really good feedback. You can get 33" tires with stock rim/suspension with no rub on a TRD OR. Size 255/85/16.

Can personally recommend 255/85r16. Installed the Master craft CTX. pretty aggressive tries and they fit with no rub on stock OR rims. Lighter than 285s, extremely capable

    255/85/16 is a pizza cutter. 265/75/16 ftw

But 2 inch shorter. your only benefit is a third of an inch in wideness and more contact patch to move. Have you had any rubbing on with 265s on stock suspension?
