I just got a 2023 Tacoma TRD Pro.
It has the stock 265/70R16 Wrangler Territory AT's on it.
Can I change to Wrangler Duratracs 31x10.5R16?

I know the size is pretty similar... Will they fit alright?

Are you sure you read that right? I have never seen a 31x10.50 for anything but 15" rims. High flotation tires (inch measurement tires) are not usually available on a 16" rim.

All that said, 31x10.5 is the same overall diameter and width as stock so if you did find that size, yes, it would fit fine.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if the duratracs came in a 16 inch rim size, thats why i changed it. Now all I gotta do is find Duratracs without the RT in the 265/70R16 tire size.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Check out the stickies at the top of this forum.

Just remember, wheel fitment is very important. Running the OE wheels makes choices much easier. Or at least wheels with OE specs.

@TacoMelv.. 275/60R18 is a solid fit and a 275/65R18 may require mild mods like mud flat removal. Hope this helps.

You don't have to buy from Extreme Terrain, but they do have a good guide to indicate whether or not the wheels you want will fit a Tacoma with stock suspension. I ended up with 32" 265 70R/17s on mine. No rubbing and they look great on my 17" TRD Pro rims.

It should still fit inside the wheel well with no issues right?
Just curious, I haven't owned a Tacoma since the 90's so wanna make sure if I buy the 265/75R16's I won't have fitting issues.

@BridgeTroll correct, the only thing that might come in contact would be the mud flap.

Yeah shouldn't be any issues with the mud flaps considering I have about 3" of spacing btwn my current stock tire and the mud flap.

I ordered the 10 ply Duratracs in 265/75R16. I know they are gonna be a heavy tire and will most likely effect my gas mileage. $359 each free install and balancing.

I Think We are going with a 265/70/R18 on our 2019 Taco Limited.

Yeah unfortunately their site does not have the Tacoma listed in their drop down menus, so I can't use them.
