Tire sizeing help

09 access cab

I'm shopping new tires, my truck (2009 Access cab) came with 245/75R 16
when checking for tires I see the size 265/70R 16 is listed as an option. My question is does one size have an advantage over the other? for those of you who know tires what in your opinion would be prefered, Thanks (I don't have many miles on the truck, but those that came with the truck I just do not like!!!!!)

That size is fine - you can also go to 265/75 r16 with no lift or trimming.

2011 SR5 Access Cab, white with Leer Cap

bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....

I have a '11 access cab with the 245/75R16...my snows are 245/70R17 and I plan to run 235/85R16 Michelin LTX as my summer tires come March...and yes, I have two sets of rims.
