I have a 2009 Taco currently fitted with 245/75r16 size tire and I'm wonder what's the biggest size tire you can fit on stock suspension?

I ran 235/85r16 on my stock Tacoma and it was a great combo, drove much better than the factory 265/70r16.

    265/70/16 probably tallest and widest.

265/70/16 is offered as a factory size on some trucks. They are 1" wider than what you have, same height. I'm running 265/75/16's. They are 1" taller and 1" wider than what you have. I've never had an issue. Some guys run 255/85/16's. They are a 33" tire, about 2" taller than stock, but are a skinny tire that will PROBABLY fit on a stock truck.

There are exceptions. An LT tire, even in the same size is a touch bigger than a P series tire and different manufacturers will be slightly different even with the same size. Brand "A" in a 255/85/16 might fit fine, while brand "B" in the same size may rub just a bit.
