Depends. trails? pavement princess? mud? snow? ice? sand?

    33's:
285/70r17 if you want wider tires for looks or floatation (mud/sand).
255/80r17 if you want big tires but narrower than 285's (snow, ice, slush). (best for trail rigs I think)

265/70r17 or 255/75r17 (skinnier - limited tire selection) or 235/80r17 (skinniest - only available in E load) if you want to keep 32" size.

Question fall. Where do you live, what do you do with your truck and how much time will it spend there, and if you have snow do you have a set of dedicated snow tires?

Sorry for being vague. 90% of time is spent on pavement. Occasionally may be on beach. Do get some ice and snow during the winter too and lot of rain in spring.
Been thinking prolly Nitto Terra Grapplers or another AT

Lower budget, cooper at3's, higher budget ko2's. $650 versus $1000.

Bump back to the top for ya. I haven't ran dedicated highway tires on a truck in over 30 years. But somebody here can help.

I'm really liking the R/T's, but they are a bit pricey!

I know tell me about it! I put these on about two weeks ago they have been great so far. I got 70,000 miles out of my last TOYO M/T tires in the same size and still could have pushed them to 80k. I live in Western Washington so I didn't want to end up hitting standing water on the freeway and end up rolled over in a ditch. So I upgraded early haha. Hoping to get 70-80k out of these.

I just ordered the Toyo Open Country R/T's and Fuel throttle wheels to go with the Rough Country 3" susp lift. I cant wait to get it all put together!
