Hey all! New to Tacoma life and looking at some 17/9 wheels and 0 offset. Looking for on/off road tires but am staying stock height.

Looking for aggressive look and don’t want to run into any issues at stock height. Suggestions on tire size?

    Thanks all!

Whatever size that will not rub with your wheel choice.

265/65R17 if you don't want larger tires than stock

265/65R17 is the stock size for the 17' wheels

I’m cool with larger tires than stock just staying stock height. I want to go a little wider just don’t want to rub.

265/70r17 is the max for no rub.

I've seen some people push it for 275/70r17 with some plastic cutting but it heavily depends on your offset.

285 is cab mount chop territory.

Almost any A/T tire is fine for daily driving as long as you dont go for Load E. Stay load C or P.

I ran cooper st maxx, very happy with them. Ice traction was poor, but very durable on eastern sierra nasty rocks.

    Stock, 4WD, Access Cab, White,
You will probably need a wheel with a bit of negative offset.

Stock wheels have a +30 mm offset, which "places" the wheel more into the wheel well.

The 0 (zero) offset will move the wheel "out" about an 1 1/4 inches, this maybe enough for your 9" rim + tire to clear.
