A little history first. I'm currently running a 2013 TRD, DC, OR and have just over 40K on the 265/70R-16 BFG Trail T/As that came on the truck. I'm looking to go with 275/70R-16 BFG A/T2 and add a 2" spacer to the front for a level stance. I will be staying with the stock wheels or going with the TRD Bronze Off-Road wheels.

The truck is my DD and I use it to pull my 3,200 pound boat either a half mile or over one hundred miles. The truck takes a few 1,800 mile road trips each year without the boat as well. I'm located in the hills of southern middle Tennessee and use one dirt roads that drop from 1050 ft AMSL to the lake in 3-4 hundred yards at 875 ft AMSL. There is also a great amount of TVA and public land close by and may head out on a trail on any given day.

Back in 1988 I had my first Toy that I purchased new and drove till 1996. During those years I ran with the stock Toyo's, BFG 29-9.50-15 M/T and 30-10.50-15 A/T. This had a little influence on my Son who was 3 when I bought it. For the last ten years, he's had a 87 Rock Crawler that has lockers front and rear, runs on propane, has dual transfer cases, hydraulic steering and now a custom tube back end.

I know I missed a few things on his truck but, you can see were I'm going with this. So, I guess I'm just looking for some discussion and input on what I'll be up to this year.

    Guy
