Tire tread depth

    Where exactly are tires measured? According to what I’ve read on Google the Falken wildpeak at3w in size 265/70/17 should have a tread depth of 18/32. I just checked mine and they are far from that. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, I don’t know. I do know that I got less than 32k miles on my last set.

    Do they have to special order them at America’s tire? I’m looking at their website and all I see available is either the E or SL rated. Or are LTs considered the same as E?
    Edit: Just clicked on the E rating and yup, E is LT.

    The SL will drive great, I had the Wildpeaks on my last Tacoma and my wife has them on her Bronco sport. You will enjoy the ride and those look great!
