    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
In October I drove 283 miles/456kms non stop, from Kamloops BC to Jasper Alberta, hills, mountains and avg 21 mpg with 285 70 17 (load C tires 51lbs) 2 inch lift, winch and a canopy.
You don’t have to run grandpa tires to get good mpg. We do have 60mph speed limits.

I really don't have my hands on the bare tires to weigh them. I have weighed my tires mounted on the wheels though.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Tire Rack and Discount Tire, for two, are sites that have all of the specs you'd want in one place.

The weights of every tire made is listed on the manufacturer's website or the website of most retailers that sell them. You might have trouble finding accurate specs on some cheap Chinese made tires, but I'm not buying those.

I've had my Tacoma for 15 years and 231,000 miles. I've had 245/75/16, 265/70/16, and 265/75/16 tires on it. They were all a moderately aggressive AT tire. No mud tires, no street tires. They have weighed as little as 38 lbs. and as much as 53 lbs. My fuel mileage has never varied.

The "E" rated tires ride a little stiffer. And you can feel a little slower acceleration when pulling away from a stop or merging onto the interstate. But once up to speed a heavier tire takes no more power, or fuel, to keep it moving. Wide tires, and tires with aggressive mud tread have much more rolling resistance and require you to spend more time on the skinny pedal instead of being able to coast.
