Ahh man. Well guess I gotta keep looking. I do want a bit of poke just to make it look more aggressive.

That’s really unfortunate. Okay. I’ll do some more searching. But for tires. I do want it to poke out a bit more for the aggressive side of it. 33s specifically

I’m running 0 offset on a 17x8.5 with 33’s. I’d say it‘s “aggressive” but if you really want to make a statement find something around -10 or -12.

The wheel specs are great, the bore size is Toyota specific, the weight is super light. Awesome numbers there but that offset is just insane.

To be clear it can be done with those wheels but you've gotta be ready to send it with the grinder

Thing is. I don’t mind giving it to a shop and having them do what they need to do. It just all depends on how much they’d have to take off and if at that point it would be worth doing it. Cost wise and if it would completely just change the look of it I guess you can say

What folks are getting at is the can of worms will be rather enormous. But hey, if you've got the time, money, and stamina to see it through...get after it.

And now I've given you contradictory advice. Haha. Listen to earlier me, cancel that order and get a more reasonable wheel.

On the other hand, may be stay with the stock wheels and get a 1.25 or 1.5 inch wheel spacer. This will save you money and pain.

Already ordered a set of bilstein 6112 (front) and 5160 (rear). Do want an extra bit of lit since I’m going bigger wheels and do some off-roading

The blistein lift kit is awesome. That’s a nice set up. You will love it. You can still stay with the stock wheels with that lift kit. Personally, I care less about the look of wheels as long as it’s smaller size, like 15 or 16 inches. I like more rubber. My OR stock wheels painted black looks nice. I’m running the same wheels with 285/75 tires and perform great off-road.

Heard good things can’t wait to try them out! Would it be smart to put a 1/2 inch spacer in the front to get that 2.5 inch lift. Same with the rear would I be able to get them to at least 2 inches? It’s saying they go to 1.5 only. I’m over the stock look just want some nice bronze to go with the green

Those bronze 17" 4Runner TRD Pro wheels are pretty sweet and the tire options are better with that wheel diameter. You could pair them with a 1.25" spacer and get the look you're hoping for

Good for you. The bronze wheels will go perfect with the army green. In regards to the spacers, i think it should be fine as long as you’re not doing crazy big size. I personally avoid any kind of spacer lift, but people run those all the time and it’s just fine. For 5he rear, you can do Add a leaf to get a total of 2 inches.

@Max Friyuk this may not be 100% helpful since I have 265/75/r16 tires and you're looking to go bigger, but here's a down-the-side shot of my 8 inch wide wheels at zero offset. This picture captures it pretty authentically vs the natural eye, but my actual in-person experience is that they actually seem to poke out just a hair more than what the picture indicates. Good luck with your search in any case.

Thank you. Really helps me understand how much it actually sticks out with smaller.

There are literally thousands of people running 17x9, -38 offset SCS wheels with zero issues. I’m running a 17x8.5, -25 offset RRW with zero issues. What on earth are you guys talking about having wheel bearing issues?
