Proof right here. This one still starts and runs. Nothing else could take this type of abuse and still be worth something. Motor, trans, TC and rear axle all function with no problems.

Originally it sounded like you personally had a problem child truck, but you only list a vibration issue. That's a pretty good track record actually.

I'm over 800k between 6 Tacomas & a Toyota pick-up (not counting my Tundra) without any real problems.

I have just done required services, tires, breaks & fluid changes.

My 91 4Runner has over 312K and everything still works. It's a trail camping rig also.

When you sell it do the math--I think you'll find TCO over time to be far less than with many other vehicles...

Mine does this every once in a while. Must be because my lift violated my warranty. POS.

Other than normal routine maintenance I haven't had any issues. I don't expect to dodge that bullet forever but so far no complaints.

Got an 06 with 250+k on the odo.. blew a head gasket at 238k. Put a used motor in it because it was sitting on a frame that was 6 months old.. Drove a 2014 dcsb with lots of bells and whistles for 4 months on Toyota's dime. Tyvvm.
Other than that, oil change once a month pretty much, 8 sets of spark plugs, one set of shocks all around, 4 sets of tires, 2 sets of brakes all around, a couple of wheel bearings. I flunked safety inspection last July due to one bad inner ball joint, I replaced both inners and outers with over 240k. Also replaced the lower steering u joint a couple months ago.

Nothing but maintenance for the most part.

Toyota's don't die, they just morph into something beautiful.

Toyota's are JUNK. I would much rather transverse the globe in a smart car than this POS.
