Yeh same here, most of the complaining on the 4th gen stem from, in my opinion, 3rd gen owner remorse or just panning something they can't acquire. Both normal reactions for some. Others opinions are just as valuable as anyone here and to attack the OP's grammar and punctuation is odd since some are kinda hypocritical on this matter. But personal attacks on someone's opinion mean one of two or both things. They agree with them and don't want to seem weak, and/or they have no where else to go. But this is TW and personal attacks are the norm here.

Don't sweat it, it never ends here. Feeding the nonsense will make you go crazy. I just avoid the nonsense. Or, try to.

I'm surprised there are any complaints about anything on this forum, Hell I read the gen 3 what's your other car thread and it seems about 80% of 3rd Gen Tacoma owners drive a $175-250K second vehicle on weekends and they drive a Tacoma because it's good on gas.

So, to be real here, I have an 18 Tacoma SR 4WD, 6' bed XTra cab 4 cylinder that has not been back to the dealer since I bought it, has made 60,000 miles with nothing but oil changes (at 10k) and new tires, has no fading pant, though the headlights are starting to look shitty.

not really, but it takes years to understand and learn the nuances of the market in order to make money. need parameters and rules for "trade entry" and rules for "trade exit" and never break those rules.
politicians are required to report their trades. there's a tracker for their trades.

Nancy Pelosi got in on $NVDA last december when $NVDA was $450 (not accurate, ballpark), her trade becomes available to general public in 45days. Plenty of people rode that trade as price action pulled back and went sideways but 3 months later $NVDA went as high as $950. That's 100% return in 3 months. She made 10 years worth of her salary on that single trade.
I was in this trade and got out at around $900, my entry was $535, waiting for an EMA to cross bullish.

Just last week, Michael McCaul bought 700k worth of $META just 2 weeks before voting "yes" to ban TikTok.
The trade is currently udnerwater as $META got decimated during ER ( Earnings Report).
I think he got in too early. i rode this trade and have a vertical spread that expires this dec., i got the trade teh day after $META reported earnings.

last week, Ted Cruz sold 500k worth of $GS, goldman sachs. $GS still keeps going up. HOwever, $KRE is weak. $KRE is an ETF on regional banking. When $SVBI collapsed last year teh first to tank was $KRE before the other banks got hit.
i have no position on this.

In February MArkwayne Mullin bought 30k worth of $BMI badger meters. right before the company got EPA approval.

    --------------
i dont piggyback on all their trades, but it's good to track. Pelosi has an extremely hi win rate. When i piggyback on their trades i dont risk more than 3% of my account.

People vent in different ways. Doesn't make his opinion less valid.

check for fuel, refrigerant, exhaust, or propane leaking into cabin

that would get you a diesel rubicon gladiator with torque, big tires, rear leg room, disco sway, solid axle, and 4:1 tcase

    maybe a proper Lexus/Toyota 4x4
    Ranger raptor
    Bronco
    Top of the Line Colorado/canyon
    Diesel 2500

    Never said it wasn't valid.
Just said it comes off a specific way.

    F*** paying over MSRP
I also never buy new cars - always used and then I keep em for 150k+ miles; pay cash; I don't like eating that "drive it off lot depreciation" - this is what works for me.

    @Airborne
    Thank you very much.
    Sincerely.

I get that to a point; I haven't had much luck with used vehicles so I try and buy new when I can.

Ironically the most reliable used vehicle I bought was a 5 cylinder 5 speed manual '08 Jetta o_O

I seem to be good at it.
I have yet to buy a bad one.
I am real patient + most of the cars I really want are old at this point.
Right now I want 04-08 TL with a V6 and MT.

Don’t people buy Tacomas for their amazing resale? My truck is 18 months old and lost $1,650 versus what I paid for it. That’s less than $100/month.

Granted same can be said of used Tacomas. You can probably buy a used 3rd gen, put 50k miles on it and only lose $3-8k depending on how bad you beat on it.
