My experience with Tirerack has been far from good.

So recently, some of you may have seen my posting on the for sale section for the Brembo blanks I bought from Tirerack.

Needing some new brakes, I decided to get some Hawk LTS and Brembo blanks. I waited a week to install the new rotors because of my busy schedule. After doing all the labor, I noticed the brembo rotor was smaller than my OEM rotor, so I put everything back.

I called them on the same day (on a Friday) and told them the new rotor did not fit. The lady from CS told me I would have to pay for a return shipment then transfered me to one of their "specialist." He asked if I had VSC and
I said I didnt know, so I went to go check. He said he doesn't know about Tacomas, since he has a Honda and there's a button for VSC on the left panel. He asked for my VIN and told me he will call me back.

I waited for 2-3 hours then went on their site to chat with a specialist. He said their sizing specialists all went home for the weekend and they will contact me about the correct part and size on Monday. No call. On Tuesday I went to chat with them again and they finally told me that it was the correct part and they dont know what happened.

The next day I called and told them I wanted a refund. They paid for the return shipment, but I'm out $20 for the original shipment.

I received an email saying they have credited my account with today's date. That was at 6 am. There has been no deposits.

All in all, I am not saying this is a bad company, just that they need to work on their customer service. I do take the blame for not checking if my truck has VSC or not. Maybe I just have bad luck ordering parts online.

Dont let me review stop you guys from ordering at Tirerack.com though!

nah, Im sure with xxxx transactions theres plenty of goofups, and that sux that u were right in the middle of things. Thats where I got my brembo blanks and hawks for the truck before the EBC kit along with my braided lines, and also where I used to get my maxima parts/tires.
