You can go the 255 route and get true 33's.

I 100% agree the OR and Pro (and Trail) should come with different tires.

    I too 100% agree. :D

What bugs me the most on YOUTUBE is, stock Tacoma's vs Competition and all the competition have Duratracs, K02's, etc... and the TACO's have "KEVLAR" Highway Tires.:boink:

As predicted, the Taco keeps up regardless...

YES! It drives me bonkers. I brought new tires to the dealership when I picked up my truck and them install them before I left lol

Same here. My next tire is gonna be a 255 Pizza Cutter 33" tire. Unfortunately my Duratracs dont come in that size.

That leaves me with either a 255/85/16 or 255/80/17 in a 33" tire. If I go 17", then I have to replace my OEM 16" rims.

My #1 tire needs are a 3 peak snow designation, and an aggressive A/T thread. (Most in these sizes are an M/T.)
#2 ideally would be NOT to get an E Load tire, but believe they all only come in an E load.

I believe only Wildpeaks currently offers what I need with the 3 peak and aggressive A/T 255/80/17 tire. Unfortunately I believe they also only come in a E load in that size.

Feel free to correct me, if there are other tires out there with my #1 needs.

Looks nekked without the fender flares. My truck will look nearly identical once my UCA's arrive, though I went with the grey SR8's. And my truck isn't nekked.

Went with 265/75R16 Toyo Open Country AT3 116T. They are just slightly bigger than stock and a bit more aggressive. I'm really happy with them

In my opinion, I have owned 4 Tacos, the 16" wheel is superior for off-road since you can easily air it up and down. I have a eibach stage 2 pro front lift 2.5 and icon AAL with overload spring. I can flex all day without worrying about rub and still get 20mpg with ikamper 265/70/16 wtang
