    Hello everyone,

I am new to TW. I recently bought an 06 Tacoma 4x4 SR5. It has stock chrome 16" wheels with P245/65/R16 Tires.

I am thinking of putting BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO 285/70/R17 with new rims.

What will I need to do as far as lift and trimming if any?

    Thanks

min of 3" lift... you'll probably have to trim a small amt in the front... probably have to remove the front mud flaps... and you'll need new wheels with the correct backspacing unless you buy spacers to push out your oem wheels... (edit: I see you listed 17" tires, so you're already planning on new wheels).

x2, and you'll want wheels with 4.5" Backspacing or less.
