yeah, same here. i have gone through 2 sets of ST Maxx tires and I'm on my 4th set of AT3 LT E's. i guess it's all about how you use them. neither of my ST Maxx sets lasted even 25k. all E range.

It almost sounds like your tires are not balanced properly.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
That's a pretty aggressive tire for running the street a very high percentage of its use. They do look good and perform well in dirt, snow, etc. There's also a pretty good reason these carry ZERO mileage warranty. I would suggest you did pretty well with 30k before they went to shit. Years back, when I was stupid, I used to run BFG M/T's, it's what all the cool guys did. If you got 20-25k on those, you did well. Then again, BFG are shit tires in general. I'd be happy with 30k on an ST Maxx.

Now, the opposite will be true if you did the AT3 Discovery XLT. 55k warranty, not quite as aggressive, but a very solid tire on street and dirt.

i agree but i still get low mileage on my AT3 LT E loads which are the same as the XLTs just smaller diameter. more than the STMaxx though, probably 10-15k more over here.

    Honestly, looks like suspension/alignment issue.

See, I would of expected a front view when you said "choppy". All I really see is heel-toe wear.
What rotation pattern are you using?
What's the tread depth? They look pretty close to done...

Your tire pressure is fine. Use this website . Looks like you should be running about 36 psi, so you’re good from that standpoint.

FWIW, my tire shop says they see more cupping with ST Maxxs than any other tire they offer.

FWIW I have Cooper ST Maxx's they're wearing beautifully getting plenty of milage out of them and my alignment is *NOT* in spec.

When you lift your truck you change the geometry and the factory spec is no longer appropriate and can lead to bad wear issues you need to get an alignment done by a lifted 4x4 specialist.

I am running 0° toe, 0° camber, +2.25° forward caster.

33psi front 32psi rear E load 285 75 17 on 3" Fox adjustable coilover lift OME 2nd gen Dakars+ and Archive Garage Hammer Hangers.

That said OP I'd put money on worn suspension components, when's the last time you did upper and lower ball joints and inner and outer tie rods? How old are your shocks? Have you chalk tested?

Hey check that out a "not to spec" 0° 0° 2°+ alignment like I said with similar results crazy.

These 37” STTs have 20k on them.

    Wear is amazing.

You get those before or after the Good Year acquisition?

Heard nothing but good things about Coopers before (when I got mine) and a good handful of horror stories since.

Your wrong in the BFG thing, I’ve gotten close to 50k out of my sets over the years. The ST Maxx are good tires and like all the tires some guys seem to have bad luck with them.
The Maxx could prob be run around 30psi and you wouldn’t see any squat.
