I've been running the Cooper STT's on my Jeep GC for a while, they're not great on ice but do well in deep snow or mud. Good to hear others opinions on less aggressive tread for Tacos.

I really like the tires. Getting used to the slightlier skinnier tires but it moves easier and I like the price

I have the 265/75 on stock taco. I love them, decent in mud and little road noise and great on we roads (compared to balding road tires haha)

Lost a side lug, if you can call it that. Must have been a curb because aside from a few dirt fire roads I haven't done any off-roading. I guess these are a more mild rubber compound? Never had that on with my BFG A/T's.

Was considering AT3's when I can afford some new tires. How different are they from the ATP's? I do pretty much all city/highway driving (highway not so much at the moment).

Cheap as in price wise but I have a few issues when I first got them but I still run them cause Discount Tires has amazing warranty:
Nail but unavoidable cause it happens:

did they patched it or replaced it brand new?
isn't the warranty pro-rated? in your case since you used it after 2 days, you got the full value.
also, isn't the certificate good for one time use? once you use it, you have to buy a new one if you still want warranty?

I was wondering some of the same. In theory you'd never ever have to buy tires again.

They are just a slightly less aggressive tread design which I assume makes them more suited to on road driving. I personally like them but also heavily considered the atps

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
Tire was replaced with a new tire. The way I understood it, the warranty was good for the life of the tires.

Ok, it's good for 3 years or 3/32" tread left whichever comes first.

    http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/infoCertificate.do

It has all the usual fineprints.
I think I read it somewhere in the website it is one time use only, per tire.

Strike 2 discovered today. Rear passenger side tire is forming a nice big bubble in the side wall. Glad I got the warranty.

Whenever I was pricing new tires the at3 was cheaper overall since discount had an instant rebate plus Cooper had an $80 rebate for the at3, but the atp only had the discount rebate.

That $80 prepaid visa was a huge incentive. Bought the tires a few months ago I believe. Never received my rebate and yes, I sent in the paper work.

Guess I should thank cooper tires for helping me decide which to get for my next set if tires. They won't be coopers.

Mine took 4 months to show up. You can track it on their rebate website (Google it)
