look at my build thread, its in my signature.
    I have the 265 70 17 duratracs

It added 1/2inch of ground clearance under diff.
I haven't noticed a different in cab height, mainly because when I put the tires on I also added about 400lbs of armour lol.

    also depends on offset.

But for the most part they will rub on the cab mount.

Any particular reason you went with 17s instead of sticking to stock 16s on the off road? Guessing you just liked a wheel that happened to be 17s

EDIT: Nevermind saw your build thread

wanted a different offset, used the OE wheels for my winters
the konigs I got are one of the lightest 17s you can get for the tacos.

Also for future, would rather have a slightly smaller side wall if I end up going with a 255 80 17 vs the 255 85 16. Also keeps the option for a C rated tire for a 255 75 17.
0 Offset also helps for clearing a 285 from what I've found on here.

I noticed on your build thread you have 2 tire setups...one for winter and other for summer. The duratracs you have as a summer tire, but arent they known for performing well in the snow?

they are, but where I live we get a lot of ice and I'd rather run a dedicated winter.
and having a dedicated winter gets savings on insurance.

Ah gotcha...how are the duratracs to run as a daily driver say if you didn't get much snow?

    so far I've enjoyed them.
They're a tiny bit noisy but nothing significant. Radio on at 15 or higher volume and you can't hear them anymore. Or at least I can't
But with no music I can hear them a bit.

I'm happy with them. I've had KO2s and Cooper ST Maxx on my jeep in the past. the st maxx were by far my favourite tire but figured I'd give the duratrac a try after all the good things I've heard.
    Hated the KO2s

Falken A/T3W gets you the looks without breaking the bank if that's what you're after.
