curious as to what people are running for mostly highway driving. I live in ct so we get some good snow. I'd like to find something that has good winter traction but won't kill my gas mpg's. I've run Tokyo at2 on my Tacoma as well as bfg at's. I just have no need for such an aggressive tread. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What size are you running? 245/75's, 265/70's or have you sized up?

Michelin LTX are a great option. Goodyear Wrangler SR/A's aren't bad either, but the LTX's are what I'd go with if I was running lots of highway and still wanted snow traction. Smooth, quiet, but still grippy.

I just put on BFG KO2's, they are super quiet and smooth. They are also snowflake rated, seems like a great match for your needs. Know they are aggressive but they ride better than the stock highway tires that came on my 4runner.

I'm running those on my Tacoma right now, not overall happy with them. granted I'm running light truck rated instead of passenger so they are rough. I was looking at the Tokyo open country at2's as well.
