Tires - HELP!

Hey all! I have literally looked everywhere so take it easy on me. My son needs new tires and I found a great deall on a set of 265/70/17. Will they fit? He has:


-2007 2wd 4cyl Access Cab 5 Lug

-17” Black Rhino Trabuco rims (+40 offset I think)

-1” Spacers

-2.75" Front, 1.75" Rear Suspension Lift

They should fit. But that is a larger than stock diameter tire. There will be some loss of power with the bigger tires. The 4 cyl doesn't have a lot of power to spare.

Here is a website that lets you get a visual look at different sizes along with some numbers to compare. I'm not positive what the stocks size is, but I'm thinking this is 3-4" taller than stock. That's about 10% and enough to lose a lot of power.
