It's not about looks. It's about ground pressure and going over snow fields and glaciers, where the least amount of ground pressure is the best.

100% understandable.. i feel like some thoughts on its looks was definitely put into it cause i see money on that thing that is not necessary. for me personally i wouldn't have a use for it but i do think its bad ass thus the conflicting feelings about it

It has the looks because adventure companies take tourists out on glaciers and through the tundra in those things. Light and low ground pressure. a tracked vehicle would just sink.

You want to hear something really silly? This thing is in Iceland. In Iceland it is HIGHLY ILLEGAL and environmentally disrespectful to go off-road. The worst conditions you'll encounter are marked gravel trails (F-roads) and the occasional stream crossing. For perspective, tour buses regularly travel on F-roads and cross those streams.

Define 'big'. As in tall or wide? There is a significant difference in a 33" tire that is 285 vs a 235, yet have the same diameter. And they both work great for specific conditions.

The 'factory lift kit' is robbery. Sorry, it just is. And you may learn that wheel fitment means more to clearance than lift.

Technically wheels, not rims. But with those stock wheels you can go 235 80, a full 33". Or as others have suggested, +1 over OE in a wider tire. WITH NO LIFT

    Correct!

Most folks who claim these ailments have no clue how devastating they really are. They are just nice excuses for something. However, if you have actually been professionally diagnosed with these conditions, please seek and follow through with professional help. Your life, and the lives of those around you, will be much more pleasant when you actively manage these.

    True:)

But mounted, they barely measure to 31”.

My 33.2” wildpeaks measure 32 1/4” mounted at 35 psi, crazy.

If you want to roll around on big tires?

Get a Wrangler or a Bronco.

Those are two contradictory metal issues. I doubt you have either.... It's laziness.

yeah, it is laziness ….I didn’t feel like reading a ton of pages on my little phone while I was goofing off at work.
It was meant to be sarcastic but was poorly executed I guess.
I’m not looking to go off road, climb rocks etc… I do have travel over a few crappy wooded backroads on occasion and the extra road clearance is worth it to me..more in the snow than anything.
I know I could get better/higher aftermarket but the little extra the factory kit gives me is better than nothing, covered under warranty and on the truck when I pick it up….done deal….there I am being lazy again but I got other things to do…

No, don’t delete. The question is asked almost daily and people jump all over you saying “use the search function”. The search on here really sucks so the best way is to just ask and roll with the punches. Also you asked on a Friday which is the “stupid thread” day. What happens is most are enjoying a cold beverage or 15 and someone will ask something really dumb. The thread will catch on and snowball to hundreds of responses. Your question is not nearly dumb enough to go the distance.
If you want some good laugh and your shoulders are broad, you can keep the thread going by adding key phrases such as, “my buddy has 33’s on stock suspension and no rubbing”. “Should I go with 2 inch body lift or just 1?” Also, any mention of 6 inch lift will light the fires. This only works if you have a very low post count.

Thanks man, the reason I posted the question in the first place was because reading through all the BS is a pain in the azz honestly. I got what I needed though...
