Tread Depot too. My OEMs weigh in at 49 and I am consistently getting 20.5 on hwy averaging 70 mph. I am running 46 psi so the pressure may be offsetting some of the weight.

these are bfgodrich ko2. 265/75/16. nice riding tire, haven't used it in snow yet. got it from my dealer, they were running the buy 3 get 1. $775 installed. obviously your price may vary depending on where u live.

if the ko2 is too aggressive for you, then michelin LTX would be my next choice.

From everything people have told me about them they are pretty good for the money. However everyone says that for a bit more money you can get a really nice tire which I do agree with. Discount tire here wont even sell Firestone cause they don't meet their testing standards. Take that with a grain of salt but I think the best tire in that price point or close to it is the Cooper.

I have Cooper destination STT pro 265/70/17 and love them. Aggressive mud tire that runs great on the road and very little road noise

I'm planning to change my tires soon as well, I have the bilstien 5100 all around with .85" setting on the front. Planning to buy the Michelin AT2s because I had those in a previous truck and they were great. Not sure if I should stick with P265/70r16 or go up to LT265/75r16... What do you guys think?

PS.. I do like the look of the bfgodrich ko2

I have an order on a TRD OR 4x4 -- I'm planning on staying with stock size 265/70 because I don't want to affect handling/performance/fuel economy by going up to the 265/75 but contemplating the upgrade from the crummy Goodyear OEMs now or just wear them out or ride them Off road til they pop (maybe sooner than later). If the 265/75 didn't affect those categories I'd probably just go with the bigger tire but in my experience going bigger on tires will usually have some noticeable impacts in those areas.

P265/70-16. I think I'll go back to these next time but I'll probably stay at my current size of 265/75. The traction, quietness, and longevity of those are just too hard to beat.

What do you have against the Duratracs? They've been an awesome tire for me

Yes I installed a 1.25 inch spacer to pull the wheels out of the fenders. Here are some pics of my truck with 265/70/17 BF Goodrich KO2. image.jpgimage.jpg

This is exactly what I'll be running, except with bilstein shocks. Makes more sense to go with the 6 ply BFG then the 11….6 is more then enough even for rugged gravel roads!

I have the Nitto Terra Grappler G2's and they're amazing. They look great, are relatively quiet, and aren't crazy expensive.

SDT…those are what I'm running on now as we speak as well and love them! I just dislike mine a bit because I have them in 18"…I'd much rather have the 17". Have had them for 40,000km (30,000 miles) and still lots of tread!

For a tire on a 2wd truck that will be used 100% of the time in road, getting tires that look good at the expense of being quiet is a huge sacrifice. Make that a number one priority. The base Firestone LEs are on my wife's SUV and they are a good all around tire that is quiet and acceptable in snow for an all season. The Firestone AT fits all the needs except...it doesn't look as cool. One size up should safety take care of that.
