If you can get your caster to 4 degrees, you'd be off to a great start. I have mine set to that and the taco drive great and doesn't rub.

Yeah, when I installed my new C/O's and UCA's I maxed out lower cams for most caster, set SPC's at neutral (2*), set camber to 0, set toe to 0 all so the tech would have as little to do as possible. I won't use a shop for confirmation anymore since it's so easy to do myself. I don't understand how some of these techs have all this high tech equipment and can't get it right.

The equipment doesn't make the alignment better or more accurate. All it does is make it so the tech is now expected to do more alignments in the same amount of time, he doesn't get to slow down and make sure it gets done right, it's go go go

Like I said, shops that know what it takes to do a good job will be stubborn about getting paid. Shops that don't care will lure you in with a cheap price, get it "close" and move on to the next one. They simply don't have time to do it right because the only way they can stay profitable is to cram as many alignments through as possible

Understood. LA (lower Alabama) lacks a shop that’s that meticulous. The shop I went was the most liked, the other option was the dealer. Regardless. I will attempt to do it myself tomorrow. Will update.
