What’s up everyone I’ve been super confused and reading all the threads I can but can’t find a specific answer to my tire problem . I bought a wheel and tire set up that consisted of 18x10 moto metal rims with 265 70 r 18 falken tires. Mounted them on my 3 inch lifted Tacoma and they rubbed like crazy. I’ve gotten a million answers to why ranging from the rims are too big, to the tires are too large, was also told that no matter the amount of trimming I do they will still rub. I guess what I’m asking is what do I need to change to make the set up work? I want to run 33”s on the current 18x10 wheels I have, just have no idea what size tires to run. Any help would be greatly appreciated.I have been pulling my hair out trying to get this truck lifted and with a bigger set of tires thanks in advance !

Rubbing where??? Certainly can't have mudflaps on, probably need the cab mount chop. Those should only be a 32.6 inch tire, but big enough your gonna have to do some trimming. Have you trimmed anything yet??? Pics??? Welcome to TW!!

No haven’t trimmed anything yet discount mounted the 33”s then decided they couldn’t In good faith let the truck go with them on rubbing so they put the stock tires back on so I need to remount the new tires to see where they are rubbing.
