Thank you! Exactly the picture I needed to see. Those are ~315 tires though right? (12.5" = 317.5 mm). Thinking of going with 285 so that's good to judge how far they stick out.

    Those are 33" x 12.50" x 17", same width as a 35, but not as tall.

This was 17x9 -12mm offset and 285/70-17, just not quite as good of a side view

This is 295/70-17 for another example

Yup that's exactly what I want my truck to look like. What lift are you running and do you have any rubbing issues? What wheels do you have?

At the time that picture was taken I had bilstein 5100s set at 0 and maxtrac spindles yielding 3.5-4" of lift. The rear was stock. Yes there was rubbing, a lot of it. Had the fender liner trimmed and a little bit of the fender, had I known about the CMC i would have done that because I rubbed there too. The rear had no issues.
Wheels are XD Series 796 Revolvers.

The picture below, with 285 tires was only bilstein 5100 at 2.5", didn't have the CMC done only the fenders trimmed, but CMC would have helped.

I understand what a offset is. I'm wondering how to determine if a different offset other than stock will rub?

You'll hear a grinding/ plastic on rubber sound if it rubs ...

In all seriousness, depends on the lift you have and the tires. With 2.75" lift in front, my 285/70/17s on 17x9 -12mm offset rub slightly at full lock in reverse. That's with CMC and plastic trimming...

Wish my wheels would stick out a little further out. Thinking 1.25" wheel spacers may be too much.

    Working on it now....UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Contrary to what has been said in this thread my paint is not ruined and my wheels stick out about 2-3 inches from fender. The front mud flap is off and the rear I just left on. With over 30,000 since it was all put together I couldn't be more pleased and the truck still looks brand new, other than the mods.
