I got stuck on a gravel boat ramp last week.... I didnt even have a boat trailer, just kayaks in the bed. It was embarrassing with my stock tires.

ok, tires ordered! I went with 265/75/16 tires, they came in a C load rating so I didnt have to deal with the E loads. I got the duratracs based on some of the posts here and the images of them in deeper snow. Tires should be showing up by the 26th and I should have them installed pretty much the same day. Now I just need to wait with my worn out factory tires.

BTW, it was like 90% this post that convinced me on the duratracs

I came in to say Duratracs, hahaha. Looks like you got there!! I will say that the E load are much louder than the SL I had originally. Hopefully the C comes in somewhere in between, or at least quieter than my E's. Good luck, and hope you love them as much as I do!

Tire pressure is a big thing no matter the tires, icy roads I’m running 29 psi, if your running 40 psi tractions going to suck.

I ran 265/70/16 Duratracs for afew years in the PNW with and had great things too say about them never got stuck offroad, or in the snow etc they where loud on the freeway but bearable. I'm running 275/75/16 wildpeak AT3's now and have been stuck 2 times where I had to dig then winch/maxtrax's out.

I don't have any experience with the other tires you have listed but I have to say after two and a half years I have been quite pleased with my skinny S/T Maxx in just about all conditions including snow and ice.

Edit: Just saw you already bought tires. Hope they work out great!

Amazing. They hold the snow on lakes great, get me and my boat up and down dirt boat ramps and perform very well on the highway.
