I went with Nitto Terra Graps. They look great, run much quieter than my worn out Toyo MTs, and are smoooth.

Been looking at Terra Grapps too I like them but I just wanted to try Toyo's and since I have Nitto Trails on the truck now I needed the change since I do more Hwy driving, but I do love my Trail Grapps which is why I'm keeping them.

I went from Toyo MT's to the AT Terra Grapplers. they're much quieter and a decently smooth ride.

That's been my experience with some local shops as well, from what I've been told and read its because the cheaper tires actually have a higher profit margin for the shop.

Just replaced Goodyear Duratracs with Goodyear's new AT Adventure after they were highly recommended by a local Goodyear dealer I've done business with for years. The difference in ride quality and quiet are remarkable. I really liked the Duratracs for the first 45K miles but then they got so loud it was unbearable. I'd still do another set of Duratracs but wanted to try something a little less aggressive....these should do fine in the local desert.....

Anyone ever deal with NTB? they have a price match guarantee , but when I asked if they would price match tire rack the guy said no... so much for the price match guarantee.

Anyway im down to three different tires and wanted some suggestions. My number one complaint with truck tires is road noise with a A/T tire, so out of these three which would be the best for me?

It's new......mods starting soon. Removed step bars so far. lol
just replaced my 55k+mile driven General Grabber worn ass AT2s in 265/75-16 with the new Cooper S/T Maxx's in 255/85-16.....very impressed so far! On a side note, although hard to keep balanced for a long period of time the Generals were a tough tire that never left me stranded, worn very evenly with religious rotations and pressure adjustments.

I have to buy tires here soon before it snows and I am wondering what you guys would buy. I shop tire rack because they are about a 10 mile drive from me and I get them installed there. These are for 31's.

    They have:

    1. BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO for $160 a tire so $640 but $570 after rebate.
    2. BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain T/A for $146 a tire so $584 but $514 after rebate.
    3. General Grabber AT 2 for $127 a tire so $508 with no rebate.

These tires will mostly be for the road and especially for snow since we get lake effect.
