I've had the Toyo O/C II's for several months... almost 5k miles...

On pavement (99% of my use) they are much noisier than street tires, but fairly quiet for an A/T style. They have a very sophisticated tread pattern than actively clears stones... and they are very good in Florida's torrential summer rainstorms... almost no hydro-planing, even at freeway speeds on very wet (i.e. shallow puddles) road surfaces. My mileage HAS dropped from 21.9 to 20.8 (combined), according to my Ultragage. Trade-offs must be made, I guess.

Since my truck is a Pre-Runner (2WD) I haven't challenged these tires in much more than fire-trails and hard-packed/dry mud & dirt. Nothing unpleasant to report.

Oh, and I bumped up the width from 245 to 265 (which probably didn't help the mileage)... other dimensions remained the same.

Didn't want to start a new thread so jumping on this ones back. Looking for new tire recommendations. I will be mostly city/hwy driving but 1-2 times a month my fishing adventures require me to go into sand, light mud, and dirt/gravel. No snow for me since live in Houston area. Have had BFgoodrich AT/KO and loved them but price is a little much now. Also had Hankook Dynapro but people here are talking bad about them so not sure want to risk it. I have no problem with aggressive as long as last and ok on road. size- 265/70/17 (stock suspinsion 2012 DCSB prerunner) Thanks

ok... i have been trying to figure this out for years... and need to know as i am in the market for new tires. i have the following set up:
    884 Coils, stock TRD shocks
2 inch Toytec add a leaf
    MB TKO Weels 16X8.5 6-139.7-6MTB rims w/ 265 75 falken rocky mountain AT's

If I upgrade to 285 75 size tires... will i have to worry about rubbing?

    Yes sir
Just remove you front mud flaps and you might need to trim a bit of the front and rear fender depending on I believe it's the degree of camber. What's the offset on the rims? My rims are -12mm offset and 4.5 backspacing which keeps my tires from contacting the UCA's, otherwise you'd want at least 1/4" wheel spacers.

Hey, just looking for a recommendation of an all-season tire that is good in the snow. Was going to go with Rugged Terrain T/As but have heard bad things about their performance in the snow. Would be running the tire in the summer as well. Thanks in advance for the help.

    Yes sir
Michelin MS2's are highly spoken of. For an AT tire KO2's, duratracs, AT2's

Looks like you have had these for a month or so. How are you liking them? Noisy? I just ordered the same set and they should be mounted in the next couple weeks.

They make some noise, but not too bad actually. Mixes real good now with the ever-so-faint whistle of my LED windshield bar! ;)
