tires

I am thinking of getting some new tires soon, want something aggressive. looking at toyo open country m/t's or something comparable. In toyos they have 295/70/17 which is a 33.3" tire, I think they will clear but not 100% sure. anyone have any experience with this size with bill steins at .85 with eibach springs and a spacer. Also what would be any other good tires that are similar?

 

for something that size you will need to do some trimming or more than .85 lift. the spacers depend on your backspacing.

 

Looks like your profile says you have 3" lift ... depending on your rims, you will probably have to fuck with your fender wells a little bit in order to avoid rubbing, but if you just street/mallcrawl it then you'll have to do less than if you plan on stuffing those tires up into your fenderwell on occasion.

 

when I say spacer i mean a lift spacer i think its around .5". I have a total of 3". I have american racing rims now with decent offset.

**edit: My tires now, 285/70/17, rub now at full lock in reverse

 

ah gotcha. I had to do the cmc and pound that fenderwell back a bit.
