Just bought a set of 18" 35s for my son's 1998 prerunner. Will they clear? He has 2" spacers if that helps?????

Not with only two inches of extra clearance. Trade them for some 32s

Tubbing the wheel wells is required and also that would be extreme strain on your stock diff gears and 4 cyl motor. Depending on width you will also hit the uca's.

    ^^^this!!^^^

Without a 6" drop bracket lift running those things will require a full 3" lift and a good bit of extra work! Tubbing and cutting the front corner of the cab off and welding in a new piece of sheet that you've formed will be needed. That's a big tire to run and like mentioned already, with that lil 4 banger you're gunna need a gear swap unless the truck being an absolute dog and not being able to get out of its own way (literally) is okay with ya?? A gear swap would be a necessity if it were mine. Honestly I'd say it would be a better idea to ditch the 35's and go smaller. I know you dont wanna hear that since you already have the big meats but the time and potential cost if you cant do the labor for gears and fab work stuff just dosent make it worth it....and to boot it dosent have 4 wheel drive.
