if i go from 195/65/15 to a 195/60//15 tire can it do harm to the car in any way

    It probably should be ok. Most vehivles are designed to go up or down two sizes because they offer different sizes from the factory.

    You will lose a little bi of height because a 60 series tire sets a little lower than a 65 series does.

    Based on the size, you must be asking about a Miata. The 60 will be an improvement. But a 205 x 50 would be even better.
