I have summitomo encounters right now but they are relatively new. I’m thinking once they wear out I’ll get a lift and new tires. What kind should I look at for both of those?

Saving up money right now but I cannot resist the urge to mod my taco. I’d have more to spend once tires are worn. Probably under a grand for lift and tires/wheels. I want to get a 3rd gen probably in about 4yrs but keep the 2002 as well. If it was a 2.5 in lift I’d be able to keep my 16” wheels right?

You can definitely keep 16” wheels if you want. Under $1000 will be tight but can be done. Spacer lift and some new rubber. Probably not gonna get shocks/suspension type lift for that cheap.

Shackle lifts never give you the lift they say they do. Actually, I got half of the advertised lift out of mine. Ditched it, got an add a leaf, new coils on 5100's up front. Do it right the first time.
