I am looking for aggressive looking all terrains for my double cab on stock suspension. I do not want it to rub and not ready to cut fenders, but what is the biggest size I can get? Tread wear and noise are important too. Thanks!

Welcome to TW! Let me be the first one to invite you to have a look around...get to know the place...explore some threads. There are countless threads on tire selection that can help steer you in the direction you would like to go. TacomaWorld really is a great resource which is full of experienced and friendly users who've collectively had just about every experience possible with their Tacoma. The "search" field in the upper right hand corner of the screen is great, as is the "Forums" drop down tab on the upper left of your screen. Between the two, you'll find an entire universe worth of information and discussions.

If you are looking at an aggressive A/T tire look at the hybrids. Cooper STT Maxx (I consider this a hybrid because it's more aggressive than their normal AT), Goodyear Duratrac, Nitto Ridge Grappler. All 3 of these get excellent tread life for a tire in this category and stay quiet for the most part. As any aggressive tire wears though your biggest thing to keep them quiet is maintenance of them regular rotations, alignment checks, getting them rebalanced.

I just re-shoed my Tacoma today. I put factory sized 245/75/16 BFGoodrich TA KO2’s on it. They look aggressive, yet wear well (per friend’s who have them) are are a whole lot quieter than the ones I had on!!! I didn’t want to worry about rub, do not have or want a lift, and do not want the speedometer off any worse than what it already is.

BFG All Terrain KO's. The current version is KO2's. I currently have Duratracs and I don't like them as much as the BFG's I've had. Rub a bunch more and don't have the wet road traction that the BFG's have. Size 265/75R16.

Falken Wildpeak AT3W! I've heard almost exclusively good things about them and they can be had for much cheaper than many alternatives. I picked up a set of 265/70r16's and am just waiting to put them on. They look way gnarlier in person than they do in pictures.

Side note: didn't realize tires are Prime eligible on Amazon!

This past weekend I just put on 4 new Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S tires on my truck....265/70R/16... so far they are great tires... quiet on the highway and ride is really comfortable. 20190608_142246.jpg
