So I’ve done some searching here but I haven’t found my answer so I gotta ask even though it must’ve been covered somewhere here. 17 OR. I have a 2” spacer in front, 1” block in the rear. I wanted to put 1.25” spidertrax wheel spacers on stock wheels. I also want to put 285/75/16 faulkens on. With the wheel spacers will I still have some rub? I do light off-roading, heavy snow driving.

First, the lift doesn't really help much with rubbing unless you always keep your steering wheel straight when driving over speed bumps, off road, etc. It's all about the offset.

The ideal offset for the least amount of rubbing with 285s is between +10 and 0. Even with this you would have minor plastic trimming.

Your setup (assuming stock wheels) is +25 offset pushed out 1.25 inch (or 32 mm) for a total offset of -7. You will definitely have some plastic trimming to do and also most likely a cab mount chop.

Ok thanks David, I see sooooo many posts about it some people say oh no prob, I did it, got 20k on it no rub at all. I really wanted the 285’s but I definitely do not want to cut it up. Thanks again

So if i went with a 1" spacer that would bring me to about a zero offset. Then I'd be doing some plastic trimming? Is that correct?

Disclaimer, I do not have 285s, but I have read tons and tons about different configurations. My understanding is yes, you can probably get away with just plastic trimming with a 1" spacer and a good alignment (caster set to 3).
