Tires

I'm a complete tire noob if anyone can give me advice right now the tires on my stick hight 97 xtra cab taco 2wd is 255/50zr16 99w (rims are not stock idk what they are they were just on the truck when i bought it) I'd like to get as big of tires as I could get without having a lift or rubbing or anything I was looking at some LT 265/75/r16 tires how do I know if these will fit my rims and if not any tire and or rim recommendations on the cheaper side of things? Any help appreciated thanks.

 

I know it may not look the best but if possible I'd like to keep the rims I have on right now for financial reasons and upgrade/change them later
