what are good all terrian tire i been seeing hankook dynapro at2 extreme but I don’t if there good or what tire I should be looking at

 

Depends on your use. Your going to get 50 differing opinions not only from brand but load range aswell. Are you staying with the stock size? Do you see winter? The best really doesn't exist there's just better suggestions.

 

You might want to be more specific on conditions you drive in, as well as % of pavement vs off road.

 

I live in Michigan so deal with snow occasionally off road with more pavement but I also deal with a lot of dirt area with work

 

I'm going to go with the geolander 018 AT4 as my suggestion. The g015 i have ran on my work trucks have been awesome and the reviews on its replacement seem excellent so far.if not that the toyo at3 has been great to my roommate and he's on his third set I believe.

 

Go to the Tire Rack and read the tests and reviews. Anything said on here will be more or less a biased opinion.

 

Question on your G015s…….LT or standard load?
I just mounted a new set of SL 015’s on my stock wheels for winter and my MPG went to shit.

 

I have those tires on my 2011 DCSB. They are my second set of AT's (but the first set was not the X-Treme), my truck had them when I bought it in 2017. I went to a larger wheel (16>17")when they wore out and put a set of more road-oriented Nitto's on it, and as much as I liked them for their ride and wear, they didn't have the off-road traction I needed . I just got the new 'Kooks about two months ago. The AT2 X-Treme is much better, the ride is pretty quiet and smooth and they have a 70K treadwear warranty, so these tires might outlast me (I'm 70 and drive about 12K a year). The others were good in snow and they weren't quite as aggressive as these, but these aren't what I'd call aggressive, unlike a mudder type offroad tire. For the driving conditions I have, it's just about right for me and they look really good, and not terribly expensive.

You need to weigh your driving types, how much of the time are you on the highway vs. off-road, how much snow do you drive in and how often? Plus a very aggressive off-road tire will be noisy and won't last as long, and you'll probably pay more for them at the start.

 

LT but this is on an f150 there was 0 noticed change in mpg. But you'll want to check the tire weights of what you had as opposed to the 015, also did you increase size at all or stock size.

 

The Toyo AT3 are great. On my second set. Good traction in the snow and dirt. Good mileage wear too. Quiet on the road and look decent. Cause looks are the most important out of all else.

 

I am biased because I am on my 2nd set of K02 (Bros) and they have been a great tire for here in NH. Great on class 6 roads, great in the snow, a bit noisy, and (if one cares) they look good as well. There are many many good options, tirerack is a good starting point and you can pin point the reviews to the vehicle and driver type

 

I got the Geolandar AT4’s a few months ago and I have almost 10,000 miles of mixed highway & off road miles on them. I can say I highly recommend them. They have been excellent in all conditions so far and are very light.

 

Same size, maybe they just have more rolling resistance than the worn out Michelins. I didn’t notice any significant difference in weight when I mounted them.
Other than the mileage drop, they ride and handle fantastic. Super smooth on the highway I just hope they’re good in snow.

 

They're decent. Not the best at iv run in the winter but still decent id still give that edge to duratracs I'd say the g017 but mine are studded so not quite fair

 

I Have Hankook Dynapro ATM’s and I can tell you they SUCK in the snow. I am soon getting Cooper Rugged Trek.

Toyo AT3s have served me well on all my Toyotas except the Wife's limited as she is still rolling on the originals. My old 4Runner was on AT2s and now the 3s as well as my Tacoma and Son's Tacoma. They wear well, quiet, light and every one barley takes any wheel weights plus they have a great warranty.

 

Duratracs have been my fav tire, but are the most aggressive A/T, that may be too much for some members. My current Wildpeaks have been pretty darn good too, just less aggressive.

Both come with the 3 peak snow designation, hence I don't use winter tires anymore.

Always look for the 3 Peak rating... Falken Wildpeak are great.
