Like always Sam, I'll keep ya on the top of my list!!

    Thanks guys
I'm anxious to see how this comes out, especially on a 214,000 mile motor. True test to Toyota's 3.4 L.
Next is to get it to do this!!! Its a V6, its doable:rolleyes:

Supercharger update: I installed the supercharger Saturday, had a few issues, hooked everything up and it fired up and ran first try, no problems until I noticed the belt had jumped a rib off on the S/C pully. After studying the situation I am making custom pulleys for the idlers to hopefully correct the belt from moving. I have read that the Gen 1 SC had issues with the pulleys/belt and hence the change to the dynamic tensioner. I would go that route but I want to see if I can make what I have work, besides that, the dynamic tensioner is around $200.
I'll update tomorrow with more details and pics, I left my freakin camera at work over the weekend.

    The pulleys worked out!
Got everything finished up last night and so far the S/C has been very impressive. Definately uped the power from stock, off idle acceleration is excellent, mid throttle is not as noticable but has more power than stock, and high RPM it once again is impressive. I have only driven around 10 miles so far, need a little more seat time to find the sweet spot for its power. Has a cool wine under power, slight rattle at idle, but all was expected reading other posts about the S/C.
For anyone looking into putting a S/C on, rather the gen 1 or later S/C, install is really easy. Making sure the vacuum hoses are correct and getting the check valve installed correctly in the IAC line are the only areas that a mistake could occure IMO.
Part #s for the checkvalve and belt from Toyota:
    Checkvalve -- PTR2635042
    S/C Belt -- PTR3035040
Pics of the final install with the new pulleys on: and yes the paint looks purple :)

That thing is sweet Todd, Very impressed with how it drives with the new found power. Looks good & the the coolness factor is thru the roof.

Thanks Rob, you have been a lot of help (and have caused me to spend too much money)!!J/K;)

Links to what I used for references doing the S/C build:
    http://www.gadgetonline.com/Super.htm
    http://www.parksoffroad.com/tacomamods/miscinfo/TRD34LSCInstal.pdf

This link was very helpful, but there are differences in vac hose routing for different years and configurations. Its all there, but some lines where used/not used for my application:
    http://gadgetonline.com/Vac.jpg

FYI, the checkvalve goes inline of the IAC line. To make sure it is correct, blow through it, flow goes TO the engine side of the hose.
Also, use the stock fuel pressure regulator. Boost reference line will go directly to the FPR.

Not anything noticable from the lift. The tires I have on now are used tires that came off a vehicle with apparent bad alignment which I believe causes a little shimmy in the ride. I'll be putting new tires on within a week and can answer with a little better insight afterwards. HTH
