Hello - I spied one of these campers at the local camper sales spot. I looked it up on their website, and using their truck fitment tool, it says 5 of the 6 super lite floor plans would fit a Tacoma Doublecab. Does anyone have any experience with these slide in campers? They look pretty slick.

    Thanks in advance.

Looks like the lightest option is 1,400 pounds dry which is maxing out the Tacoma weight capacity. But they do look nice.

    This and that...
You’re going to want to looks at either Scout or Kimbo campers for the Tacoma. They come in around 900lbs for the base and you can build out from there. You’ll need to add some airbags and E-rated tires to the truck but it can handle it well.

I cant imagine the mpg hit with that giant blunt nose cone? Looks much nicer than a traditional white camper.
