I have the stock wheels and sensors currently on the truck ( ‘18 trd sport).
I just purchased another set of stock rims (aluminum and identical to what I have now).

My plan is to buy another set of tmps sensors and put them in the winter wheels and program them to work.

Just have to buy four sensors and the programming tool to reprogram in the fall and spring.

What tmps programming tool will reprogram both stock and oem sensors (hoping the tool will also save the the info on both sets of sensors- so I do not have to reclone them each year)?

As per sensors- I was told tire rack sells the oem Tacoma sensors or you can buy a remanufactured set of eBay.
Thinking of buying a set on rock auto (ac Delco). Not really looking to install schrader valve stems.

Any suggestions on which sensors and which programming tool to buy?

The Carista app or free versions of TechStream will let you program the sensors. You just need to plug in and write down your current set and note the IDs for the new set.

Positions don't matter since the ECU will learn them after you hold down the dash button.

I have no idea about buying new sensors.
